art

This little word intrigues me.

I know it’s not the painting I hang on the wall.
I know it’s about life given to me.
It is about my perception of how the Creator views me.
It is pushing the boundaries of the unknown – daring.
It is pushing forward when it did not work.
I’ve felt the freedom and joy when I’ve decided that it is not the critic that counts.

Seth Godin, writer of The Icarus Deception: How High Will You Fly says:
Art isn’t pretty.
Art isn’t painting.
Art isn’t something you hang on the wall.
Art might scare you.
Art might bust you.
But art is who we are and what we do and what we need.
Art isn’t a result; it’s a journey.

The challenge of our time is to find a journey worthy of your heart and soul.
