Today

A day scheduled in the diary for writing.

Instead, a snotty nose and doing activities where a little lady can join in – playing with the dog, reading, wiping the nose, drawing, sticking pictures, wiping the nose, toilet, eating, wiping the nose. And ducking all the germs. Everything happens slow. Very slow. And outside, the canary in its cage sings to the grey.

A verse gets stuck on the window by the sink. It speaks about the Spirit keeping me present before the Father.

I speak truth over ‘snotty nose’ and myself. About being art. Masterpieces, poems. About being uniquely positioned and investing ‘there’, fully present to today’s grace and today’s assignment and about his favour making a way.

I read about Love… my purpose being an expression of Love. The nature of Love is to open a way…

I write. In the midst of a ‘snotty day’, I’m surrounded by beauty – a little lady giggling over a scruffy dog; surrounded by the wonder of creation – the cage canary singing away the grey outside; pretty images through a lens. ALL LIFE ART.

I sing to the grey.
